Description: |
Polluted air from oily substances passes through a
mechanical separating device made up of a helical
element and a metal screen, both inserted into a duct
which has the same section as the intake opening. Due to
the centrifugal force given so the polluted air, in this
preliminary filter the oil drops impact against the
metal screen in the duct which prevents their return
into the air flow; the droplets slide along the walls of
the duct itself to their collection point at the end of
hopper. Oil is later collected into an optional small
tank and recycled if required.
To remove possible remaining impurities, the air passes
through the last pocket filter, with a large filtering
surface and made of ultra fine glass fibre filtering
material.
