The heat exchanger enables recovery of heat dispersed into the atmosphere from combustion fumes of industrial heaters or from other hot fluids.

As the fumes traverse the tubes upwards, they yield heat to the crossed-air flow generated by the helical fan and are diffused into the workplace via the front opening. The operating temperature is controlled by a minimum thermostat to prevent the formation of condensate.

Given the saving in fuel that can be obtained in heating industrial premises, an estimate indicates that the investment in a heat exchanger can be recovered quickly.
