Retractable Spring Balance Blocks offer an alternative to hose reels and an easy way of keeping exhaust extraction hoses off the workshop floor. They are simple to install, easy to use and economical because they reduce hose wear.

The Balance Block incorporates two special features:

An integral centrifugal brake ensures that the hose is raised slowly to its elevated position and minimises the risk of damage to vehicles or injury to operators.

The recoil spring uses reversed action giving maximum suspension power in the raised position with progressively less recoil as the hose is extended to the working position.

The Balance Block can be equipped with a variety of hoses to meet individual needs and also a variety of funnels to accommodate various vehicle tailpipe sizes.

An optional extra is to have the balance block mounted on a free moving rail. This enables the balance block to be moved along the rail between workstations when a fixed system is not required for each bay.
